I bought 2 pair of the original Daroga low tops (one in black, the other in brown) several years ago, and immediately fell in love with them. They were perfect. I finally wore them out and bought these hoping they'd be an exact (or at least a very close) replacement...they aren't. This shoe is well constructed. That said it weighs much more than the original Daroga design, which was both sturdy and extremely light weight. The arch support on these is not quite as good as the original design (I recognize arch support is a very personalized issue). I wore the originals both for CrossFit and also for walking, but these I wear only to walk my dog. They're comfortable but bulkier/heavier than the originals. Adidas: bring back the original lot top Darogas, please!!!!Really perfectnice shoe. Will buy again without hesitationseen some frankly unfair reviews on here about the shoes, like all leather shoes they need to be broken in, years of playing football my feet aren't what they wear so new shoes hurt till broken in, i have been wearing for 4 days and already can feel the difference, I'm not hiking in mine just general wear, i have worn in snow and rain and stayed dry, i would say if you're using for hiking £60 for hiking boots you're expecting the world buy actual hiking boots not cross overs. I've always had adidas for trainers or football boots etc and these fit as all would, but as i say if using for hiking and wearing thick socks maybe half size upWaterproof. Comfy, fits as expected. I used to buy Saloman Speedcross for walking the dogs but saw these a bit cheaper and tried them. Will buy another pair when these wear out, but I can see them lasting a while because they have a nice solid sole and the material feels a bit tougher than the salomans. These are exactly as I expected them to be. They're certainly not sports shoes and are more a fashion item but they're comfortable (if a little narrow for me - but I have flippers where your feet are). I took them with me on a long work trip without wearing them in and they've been fine on some very long walks. They look smart too with the subtle stripes in black on black. I'm happy.Overall I'm happy with these trainers - they look great, and they fit well mostly, except for around the toes, where they are a little tight for me because I have wide feet. This is not a major issue for me though, but worth considering if you also have wide feet. The reason for the three-star review is more to do with the seller - unfortunately, I was sold a product that did not appear to be completely brand new as it had a stain on the tongue. They seemed pretty new overall and still had the tags on, so discovering this was a bit of a disappointment.I bought these an alternative to Salomon SpeedCross 4 GTX as these wear very quickly. The Adidas Swift are comparatively heavy compared to the Salomon SC 4, the sole is all very stiff and hard wearing. The stiffness resulted in Heel Pain and discomfort to the point of not wearing them past July, I purchased some PUMA instead and these are far more comfortable.
